Artist's Comments

I was babysitting the other week and we watched Don Bluth's "Thumbelina." One of the scenes showed the fairies flying through the valley, making all the leaves they touched/passed start turning to gold, ready for Autumn. I've always loved that scene...very magical! :XD:

As usual, watercolours, ink, coloured pencils and gouche on Bristol. Size approx.: 24x30cm

The fairy looks as imperfect - and at the same time perfect - as only a real butterfly can. :sun:
